Rochelle Weiner Carr

Photographer

Rochelle’s photographic style, influenced by an eye for graphic design and her fine art background, focuses on color and stylization. “Bright, sunny mornings are my favorite for taking photos. I like to frame the shots on the fly, and when I get home that's when I really start to play. I use software to manipulate the images, sometimes to an extreme degree, which can result in a hyper real or otherworldly appearance. That’s my favorite.”

Contributing Writer

The book is organized into 7 sections: Lake Park, Historic Water Tower Neighborhood, Murray Hill, Upper East Side, Downer Woods, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. Bobby Tanzilo, book author and columnist for "Urban Spelunking" in OnMilwaukee, has written a section on each of these areas of the city including interesting historical facts and data about the streets and homes you pass by every day.
